Why Your Protein Brand's Referral Program Underperforms

This fix stays largely in flow logic and timing rather than a new visual asset — the change is moving the trigger point of the ask, not redesigning the referral email itself. If Kofi later wants to test a short in-app or post-workout-log prompt that catches the momentum moment more precisely, that would be a generate_video_storyboard or generate_brief decision on its own, built around the same momentum trigger, but it's a follow-on, not a requirement to get the timing fix live.
What to measure after
The metric that actually matters here isn't total redemptions — it's redemption rate segmented by how close to a personal-best moment the ask landed, which tells Kofi whether the timing fix is doing the work the incentive size never could. That's a different measurement discipline than most teams default to, and it's the same shift in thinking that shows up when an insert card underperforms for one specific avatar instead of the whole line — the fix is rarely "more," it's "right moment, right segment."
